In the new age of nutrition, the media is full of conflicting and confusing information. Cory helps consumers navigate the confusion with Whole Foods and empowers them to take control of their health. She applies evidence-based nutrition science to support the body as a whole instead of addressing one problem, sign, or symptom. To help heal and optimize health, Cory promotes an individualized integrative approach and will meet you where you are at in your journey.
From an early age, Cory saw the impact nutrition had on the health of her family. She grew up with a brother and father diagnosed with diabetes. This sparked her interest in nutrition and it’s relationship to illness. She pursued her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and a minor in Human Development and Family Science from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN and a master’s in Nutrition Diagnostics from Cox College in Springfield, MO. To deepen her knowledge, Cory studied with The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy to become a certified Functional Medicine Nutritionist.
In addition to being a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Cory is also an ACSM Certified Group Exercise Instructor and loves helping people find joy in movement. Cory also received Health Coach training through WellCoaches School of Coaching to help individuals develop and implement personal wellness plans.
