Aster Galloway, MS, CN, RDN
Aster’s area of focus is eating disorder treatment and recovery, with her nutritional approach being guided by a Health at Every Size (HAES) philosophy. She also practices Intuitive Eating principles which encourage clients to eat in a flexible manner that honors internal hunger cues. Aster’s end goal with every client is creating peace with food and body.
Aster graduated from Bastyr University with a Master of Science degree in nutrition and dietetics and has been working in a clinical setting since 2015.
Aster also sees clients for:
- Metabolic regulation
- Gastrointestinal disorders
- Other nutrition and body-image related issues
Aster uses an integrative and functional medicine approach to create healing, non-judgmental, eating environments for patients, while working with them to match their personal nutritional needs to menu plans and cooking.
Aster serves as a respectful and gentle guide for adolescents and adults seeking treatment in eating disorder recovery, helping to direct them away from disordered eating thoughts/behaviors and body dysmorphia, while improving clients’ relationships with food and their own ideas of self-image.
Aster is happy to work with people of all cultural backgrounds, sexual identities, and orientations, providing an all-inclusive, physically and emotionally safe space for members of the LGBTQ community. Every client is treated with respect and will receive the same high-quality standard of care.
