Aster Galloway, MS, RDN
Aster’s area of focus is eating disorder treatment and recovery, with their nutritional therapy approach is guided by a Health at Every Size (HAES) philosophy. They also practice Intuitive Eating principles which encourages clients to eat in a flexible manner that honors internal hunger cues as well as enjoyment in eating. Aster’s end goal with every client is creating peace with food and body.
Aster graduated from Bastyr University with a Master of Science degree in nutrition and dietetics and has been working in a clinical setting since 2015.
Aster sees clients for:

- Metabolic regulation, diabetes, cholesterol, insulin resistance
- Autoimmune disease management
- Adolescent and early adulthood nutrition
- Other nutrition and body-image related issues
Aster uses an integrative and functional medicine approach to create healing, non-judgmental, eating environments for patients, while working with them to match their personal nutritional needs to menu plans and cooking.
Aster serves as a respectful and gentle guide for adolescents and adults seeking treatment in eating disorder recovery, helping to direct them away from disordered eating thoughts/behaviors and addressing body dysmorphia, while improving clients’ relationships with food and their own ideas of self-image.
Aster values working with people of all cultural backgrounds, sexual identities, and orientations. They specialize in providing an inclusive space that’s physically and emotionally safe for members of the queer, trans, and gender non-conforming community. Every client is treated with respect and receives the same high-quality standard of care.
