Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a medium sauce pan. Add the onion, celery, and garlic, and cook until the onion is soft.
Add the carrots, yam, and ginger to the onion mixture. Sprinkle in the red pepper flakes and add the broth.
Simmer until the carrots are very tender. Then stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, peanut butter, and milk.
After everything is combined, carefully blend about 1 cup of the mixture at a time in a high-speed blender. Place blended soup into a serving bowl and it is ready to enjoy!
