The Starkel Nutrition Blog

We Are Open Snow Days!

We know that weather and traffic conditions in Seattle can be quite unpredictable. Making it into the office for your scheduled appointment may be difficult at times, especially at times where we are experiencing lots of snow! We never want you to put yourself at risk in attempt to come see us, but we also don’t want to miss out on valuable time with you.

That is why we offer optional Telehealth appointments! Telehealth appointments allow you to see your nutritionist virtually, from the comfort of your own home!
It’s a simple process; we send you an email invitation to join a Zoom meeting and you click on the link in the email. You need a computer with a camera and microphone or you can use a mobile device.

Your appointment will be the usual length of 60-minutes and will be billed via your usual method of payment. Most insurance plans cover Telehealth appointments but we do recommend you call and confirm with your personal provider to confirm, as policies vary from plan to plan.

Starkel Nutrition does not cancel appointments due to weather and we plan to be open through the upcoming snow days. If you would like to convert your appointment to Telehealth please let us know as soon as possible.

We can be reached by phone at 206-853-0534 or by email at admin@starkelnutrition.com. We ask that you keep our 48-hour cancellation policy in mind when considering cancelling an appointment entirely.

Thank you!
