- 4 cups apple , chopped
- 2 cups cranberries , fresh
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 3 tablespoons sucanat , or brown sugar
For crumble topping:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup pecans , chopped
- 2 teaspoons sucanat , or brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon maple extract
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup water

Instructions
- Combine the apples, cranberries, 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice and 3 tablespoons sucanat in a greased 8-inch square pan.
- In a separate bowl, stir together crumble ingredients, except pumpkin puree and water. Stir together pumpkin puree and water, then pour over oats mixture. Use a fork or your fingers to blend pumpkin mixture into the oat mixture until it resembles a loose cookie dough.
- Crumble 'dough' over apple-cranberry mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
