Gretchen’s Philosophy

“Food is the foundation for our health. My passion for this work is grounded with the people I have worked with over the years and my hope is to help everyone enjoy food in a very real and practical way. Learning how to smell, taste and savor the foods that nourish us is what it’s all about.”

Living Your Healthiest Life

According to the American Institute for Cancer Research, about 40% of cancers can be prevented with lifestyle. If you have a family history of cancer or are concerned about your risk, Gretchen Gruender can work with you to optimize your health.

For many people, a cancer diagnosis is a life changing event and one that makes you rethink how you want to live your life going forward. Food and lifestyle choices are important to how we feel, whether in treatment or out of treatment, and research shows a close correlation between healthy lifestyle choices and quality of life after a diagnosis.

Gretchen will work with you to reach your goals starting with where you are now. In other words, we don’t just give you a plan to follow, but we individualize a treatment plan that will work for you based on your history and diagnosis.

Everyone is ready to make diet and lifestyle changes at different times, whether you are a week out from diagnosis or 20 years out, Gretchen will meet you where you are now.

COVID-19 updates: We are open and accepting new patients! We offer 100% of our appointments via Telehealth to keep you healthy, safe and at home.
