Detoxing Beet and Carrot Salad
This recipe is liver-detoxifying, helps to restore estrogen balance, and boost progesterone production. It is high in natural sugars, so be sure to pair it with a protein such as fish, chicken, or lamb! Equipment needed: grater and a jar with a lid

Instructions
  1. Combine all salad ingredients in a bowl.
  2. To make the dressing, combine all ingredients in a jar and close with a tight fitting lid. Shake until well combined.
  3. Pour dressing over salad and toss until coated.
  4. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
  5. Keeps well for up to four days.
  6. AIP Option: omit the walnuts and replace the cumin with AIP compliment spice of your choice
