Ingredients
- 1/4 cup lemon juice , freshly squeezed
- 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil , plus more for garnish
- 5 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons garlic , finely minced or crushed
- 2 tablespoons water
- 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 cups garbanzo beans , green, thawed if frozen

Instructions
- Fit your food processor with a steel blade and add the lemon juice, olive oil, tahini, garlic, water, and sea salt. Add green garbanzo beans on top of other ingredients, then process for about 1 minute, or until the hummus is to your desired consistency.
- Taste for seasoning and add more lemon juice, tahini, or salt if desired. If the hummus seems too thick, add water to thin it out.
- Serve cold or room temperature, with a little olive oil drizzled on top if desired.
