Potato-Avocado Fritters (Cleanse-Friendly)
Avocados are high in monounsaturated fats which help to lower cholesterol. They are also high in potassium, vitamin B6, and fiber which all promote heart health.

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mash the avocados with a fork.
  2. Stir in the grated potatoes, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Form into patties.
  4. Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties until golden brown on one side. Flip once to cook the other side.
  6. Place on a paper towel to absorb the extra oil.
Recipe Notes

Variation:  Add 1 medium zucchini, grated.
